At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we believe collaboration and connection are key to building a strong, supportive allied health and disability community. That’s why we regularly host Provider Morning Teas and offer training sessions for sole traders working across the Shoalhaven and Illawarra regions.

Whether you’re a seasoned provider or just starting out, these events are designed to bring us together, share knowledge, and strengthen the network of professionals supporting our community.

What Are Provider Morning Teas?

Provider Morning Teas are informal networking events where local support coordinators, therapists, support workers, and sole traders can connect over coffee, share insights, and build relationships.

They’re a great way to:

  • Learn about other services in the area

  • Build referral relationships

  • Hear about community initiatives or funding changes

  • Share challenges and successes in a supportive environment

We often have guest speakers or short presentations from our team or local experts, but the main focus is always on connection and collaboration.

Training for Sole Traders

We know that working as a sole trader can sometimes feel isolating — especially when you’re trying to navigate the complexities of the NDIS, compliance, documentation, and service delivery. That’s why we also offer training sessions specifically designed for sole traders in the allied health and disability sector.

These sessions may include:

  • Understanding NDIS documentation and reporting

  • Business basics for allied health and disability providers

  • Managing client relationships and communication

  • Self-care and boundaries for sole practitioners

  • Practical tools to streamline your day-to-day work

Our goal is to support local providers to grow confidently and sustainably — because when our sector is strong, our clients receive the best support possible.
