Connecting with the Community at the National Disability Care Expo – Wollongong University

We recently had the pleasure of attending the National Disability Care Expo held at Wollongong University, and what an incredible day it was! The event brought together service providers, participants, carers, and families from across the Illawarra and beyond, and we were so proud to be part of it.

This expo was not only a fantastic opportunity to connect with other organisations and meet new clients, but it also marked a special milestone for our team—the official launch of our new clinic location: Shellharbour Occupational Therapy!

Over the course of the day, we had the chance to speak with so many attendees about how occupational therapy and speech pathology can support people across the lifespan. We shared resources, showcased some of the tools we use in therapy, and introduced the community to the wonderful services available through our Shellharbour OT clinic, now open and ready to welcome new clients.

Our team loved the opportunity to hear from locals about what services are needed most in the Illawarra, and we’re excited to be bringing our personalised, community-focused approach to this region. With Shellharbour OT now open, we’re ready to deliver the same high-quality, flexible, and goal-driven support that our Shoalhaven clients know and love.
