At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, our heart has always been in helping our local communities thrive. For years, we've been proud to walk alongside clients in the Shoalhaven, providing high-quality, person-centred allied health services that make a real difference in people’s lives. And now, we’re thrilled to share that our journey of growth and support is expanding north—with the official launch of Shellharbour Occupational Therapy, our new clinic location in the Illawarra!
Why Shellharbour?
The Illawarra region is vibrant, diverse, and growing fast—and so are the needs of its communities. We’ve long held strong ties with families, schools, and professionals across the area and recognised a growing demand for accessible, responsive allied health services closer to home.
Opening our Shellharbour clinic allows us to bridge that gap and bring our values-driven approach to even more clients—delivering occupational therapy services that are flexible, collaborative, and focused on what truly matters: outcomes for the people we support.
What We Offer
Shellharbour Occupational Therapy is now providing services for both paediatric and adult clients, including:
Functional capacity assessments
Early intervention supports
School and home visits
Assistive technology assessments
Therapy for emotional regulation, sensory needs, and daily living skills
We’ve also welcomed new team members to the clinic, including Clinical Team Leader Bronwyn, whose experience with both adult and mental health OT services ensures we can support a wide range of needs from the very start.
Still Grounded in Community
Just like our Nowra clinics, Shellharbour OT is built on connection. We’re working closely with local schools, health professionals, and disability organisations to create wraparound supports that empower clients and their families. We’re also proud to bring our award-winning culture and commitment to innovation into the Illawarra, using the latest tools and evidence-informed practice to make services easier to access and more meaningful for every client.
