At Shoalhaven Allied Health, we understand how important early and ongoing support is for people with speech and communication needs. That’s why we’re so excited to share some great news with our community – we currently have capacity for new speech pathology clients over the next 1–2 months!
We know that many families in the region have been facing long waitlists – in some cases, up to two years – just to see a speech pathologist. We’ve heard your concerns, and we’re here to help.
Thanks to the recent growth of our speech pathology team, we’re able to provide timely support for families across the Shoalhaven. Whether your child is just starting to show signs of communication delay, or you’re looking for help with speech clarity, language development, or social communication – our experienced team is ready to support you.
What We Offer
Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of every child and family. We offer:
Individual speech therapy sessions tailored to your child’s goals
Support for children with speech sound disorders, language delays, stuttering, and social communication challenges
School and preschool visits, where appropriate, to support your child in the environments that matter most
Ongoing collaboration with parents, carers, teachers, and other professionals
Weekly Early Communication Group – Now Running!
We’re also excited to offer a weekly early communication group for children aged 3–5 years. This group is designed to:
Support early language development in a fun, play-based setting
Help build social interaction and turn-taking skills
Empower parents with practical strategies to use at home
Create a supportive space where children can learn from peers with similar challenges
The early years are a critical window for communication development, and group therapy offers a cost-effective and engaging way for young children to thrive. Our group is led by experienced speech pathologists who work closely with families to ensure every child gets the most out of each session.
