NDIS plans are built around your goals—and just like goals evolve, so should your therapy supports. At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we work with clients across Shoalhaven and Illawarra to ensure their NDIS services remain aligned, effective, and empowering through regular therapy reviews.
What Is a Therapy Review?
A therapy review is a planned check-in between the participant and their therapy team (e.g. OT, speech pathologist, allied health assistant). It may happen every 3, 6, or 12 months depending on the service type and goals.
These sessions help us:
Reflect on progress toward your goals
Adjust therapy frequency or strategies
Set new goals as needs evolve
Prepare documentation for plan reviews
Coordinate with support coordinators and providers
Why Are Reviews Important?
They Keep Services Goal-Focused
NDIS plans must link every support to an identified goal. Regular reviews help ensure therapy remains relevant and purposeful—not just a routine.
They Support Better Outcomes
Progress is easier to achieve when goals are actively monitored. Reviews allow us to celebrate wins and pivot when something isn’t working.
They Strengthen Your NDIS Evidence
Well-timed reviews can generate summary letters, data, and insights that are invaluable when preparing for plan reassessments or funding increases.
They Empower the Participant
Whether it’s a child learning a new skill or an adult adjusting to life changes, reviews give participants ownership of their progress and voice in their care.
What Does a Review Include?
Review of therapy goals and sessions to date
Input from the client, parent, or support worker
Discussion of ongoing or new challenges
Updates to therapy strategies or focus areas
Summary letter or updated goals, if required
How We Deliver Reviews
At South Coast Therapy & Support Group, we schedule regular reviews for:
Paediatric clients (typically each school term)
NDIS adult clients (every 6–12 months, or as needed)
Clients accessing AT or SIL/SDA supports
Clients nearing their plan end date
Reviews are offered in clinic, home, school, or via telehealth—and we work closely with families and support teams to make each session meaningful.
Stay on Track with Your NDIS Goals
Therapy is most effective when it’s regularly reviewed and responsive. Whether you’re halfway through your plan or preparing for a reassessment, we’re here to ensure you stay on track and make the most of your supports.
